Element analyzes your golf swing from video and builds a coaching plan around what it finds. To do that, we handle a small amount of your data. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do with it — in plain English.

What we collect

We collect four things:

  • Your email address and name, provided by Apple or Google when you sign in.
  • Swing video that you record or upload for analysis.
  • Your analysis results, including swing measurements, diagnoses, and lesson history.
  • Your subscription status.

How we handle swing video

Your swing video is uploaded so we can analyze it. It is not retained after processing — once analysis is complete, the video is gone.

During analysis, frames extracted from your video are sent to Google’s Gemini API. That is how the swing is measured, and we would rather tell you directly than bury it in fine print.

Third-party services

Element relies on a small set of services to work:

  • Apple and Google, for sign-in.
  • Google Gemini, for swing analysis.
  • Supabase, for our database and storage.
  • RevenueCat and Apple, for subscriptions.

What we never do

  • Your video is not used to train models.
  • Your data is not sold.
  • Your data is not shared with advertisers.
