Element analyzes your golf swing from video and builds a coaching plan around what it finds. This page explains what information we handle, why we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Depending on how you use Element, we may collect:

  • Account information such as your name, email address, user ID, or anonymous account ID.
  • Swing videos you record or upload, including any audio contained in the recording, and frames extracted from those videos.
  • Swing measurements, analysis results, lesson history, training progress, onboarding answers, shot details, and notes you provide.
  • Purchase and subscription status.

How we handle swing video

Your video and extracted frames are stored in private storage so we can run the analysis and support saved lessons and replay. They are retained while they are needed to provide your account and lessons, unless you delete your account or ask us to delete your data.

Element uses pose estimation and its measurement pipeline to measure the swing. Selected frames and measurements may then be processed by Google’s Gemini API to help interpret the measurements and generate coaching language. Your content is not used by Element to train AI models.

How we use information

  • Provide, save, and improve your swing analysis and training plan.
  • Authenticate your account and keep your lessons available.
  • Process subscriptions and restore purchases.
  • Send sign-in codes and, if you allow them, app notifications.
  • Protect the service, troubleshoot problems, and provide support.

Third-party services

Element relies on a small set of services to work:

  • Apple and Google, for sign-in and platform services.
  • Google Gemini, for analysis interpretation and coaching language.
  • Supabase, for authentication, database, and private storage.
  • RevenueCat and Apple, for subscriptions and purchase status.
  • Resend, for email sign-in codes.
  • YouTube and other linked providers when you open external training content.

What we never do

  • Your content is not used by Element to train AI models.
  • Your data is not sold.
  • Your data is not shared with advertisers.

Your choices and deletion

You can control camera, microphone, photo-library, and notification access in iOS Settings. You can permanently delete your Element account and its associated lessons, videos, frames, and analysis data inside the app at Profile → Delete account. You may also contact us for help with a data request.

Deleting your Element account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Subscriptions can be managed separately in App Store settings.
