Terms of Service

Last updated July 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of Element, a golf swing analysis app. By using Element, you agree to them. We’ve kept them short and readable on purpose.

The service

Element analyzes swing video you record or upload, measures what it sees, and builds coaching guidance from those measurements. Analysis results are our best measurement of your swing, not a guarantee of improvement — golf is hard, and outcomes depend on your practice.

Element provides golf instruction, not medical advice. If a movement causes pain, consult a professional.

Your account

You sign in with your Apple or Google account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Element.

Subscriptions

Paid features are billed as a subscription through Apple. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are managed through your App Store account; canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period, except where Apple’s policies or the law require otherwise.

Your content

Your swing video is yours. You grant us only the license needed to process it and deliver your analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use it to train models, sell it, or share it with advertisers.

Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no uploading content you don’t have the right to upload, and no using it for anything unlawful.

Liability

Element is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we’ll notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Element after that means you accept the updated terms.
